Cheese Lovers Newsletter (3.23.26): Jomas Hill Wine Sampling with Redhead Creamery Spirits
This Saturday, March 28th, we’re welcoming a pairing that feels right at home on the farm—our Redhead Creamery Spirits alongside pours from Jomas Hill Vineyard & Winery. Join us from 11 AM to 3 PM for a free tasting that brings together two producers rooted in Minnesota agriculture.
If you’re not familiar with Jomas Hill, they’re a family-owned vineyard established in 2009 by Joyce and Tom Carlson, who transformed their former dairy pasture into a thriving vineyard and winery. Their story is one we appreciate—grounded in farming, shaped by hard work, and built around a deep connection to the land.
Today, they grow cold-hardy Minnesota grapes like Marquette, Itasca, and Petite Pearl, crafting small-batch wines that reflect the character of central Minnesota. Their approach is hands-on and seasonal, with each vintage shaped by the climate and care that goes into every harvest.
Like us, Jomas Hill is about more than what’s in the glass—it’s about community. From harvest season to weekends at the vineyard, they’ve created a space where people can gather, slow down, and feel connected to where their food and drink come from.
Stop by, try something new, and spend a little time tasting what Minnesota can do.
