DELIVERY DRIVER
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a driver to help us get our ridiculously good cheeses and other locally sourced products to our wholesale and retail customers.
Our delivery routes are once a week, rotating biweekly between the Twin Cities on Wednesday and Fargo on Thursday. Typically, shifts will run 7am-4pm but can vary depending on season and driver availability.
All drivers are placed on our insurance and use our company vehicle for deliveries - a GMC Savana we lovingly refer to as The Cheese Van. We also use Routific, a routing software, to dispatch all delivery routes, communicate approximate time with our customers, and track deliveries.
COMPENSATION
Hourly, starting at $20/hr, can increase depending on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES + QUALITIES
Essential duties
- Gives excellent service to our customers.
- Performs the accurate & timely distribution of deliveries and pick-ups on a once weekly route.
- Maintains delivery logs.
- Keeps food safety a top priority.
- Communicates as needed between accounts and RHC team.
- Maintains cleanliness of RHC’s delivery van.
- Exercises strict adherence to city parking and traffic regulations.
Secondary Duties:
- During high volume seasons, may be asked to run a twice weekly route.
- May be asked to help and assist with special events and projects.
- Last minute deliveries and pick-ups based on availability and demand.
Physical Demands
- Must lift and carry up to 50lbs safely.
- Must be sitting for long periods of time.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Must have clean background check.
- Must be available for standing Wednesday and Thursday delivery routes, with possibility of additional routes.

Lead Customer Experience
Type: Full Time
Reports to: Company President
Primary Duties:
- Drives the implementation of the company mission by developing action plans and directly instructing and motivating the store team to meet operational and organizational objectives.
- Ensures a positive customer experience, providing guests with a unique, enthusiastic and informational experience both in person and online.
- Solicits customer feedback to understand customer needs and the needs of the local community.
- Identifies, purchases, and maintains a product listing that fits unique local buying habits and seasonal variations.
- Manages and oversees 1-3 hourly associates providing leadership that will ensure excellent customer service and develop high morale.
- Displays a customer first attitude by training and holding associates accountable for delivering world class customer service.
- Plans and coordinates ecommerce and in-store merchandising and promotions in partnership with marketing staff.
- Monitors and manages store staffing levels to ensure associate development and talent acquisition to achieve and maintain store operational requirements.
- Develops and retains a strong team, ensuring that new hires are guided properly and completely through the "on-boarding" process and are transitioned into the Redhead Creamery culture with consistent communication and coaching.
- Demonstrates a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events and manages smooth transitions thereafter to keep the store operating to standard and set a positive example for the store team.
- Constantly reviews store and ecommerce environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manages with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Redhead Creamery.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree in business, hospitality, culinary arts, or equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of and passion for cheese and specialty food
- Ability to develop top talent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead by example, strong leadership profile

- Highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities

Lead Fulfillment
Type: Full Time
Reports to: Company President
Primary Duties:
- Cheese cutting and packaging through each step of the process including set up and operation of cheese cutting and packaging equipment and supervising a team to accomplish production goals while maintaining safe and sanitary conditions
- Participation in routine cleaning, record keeping and Food Safety
- Working with the cheesemaking team directly on production schedule, ongoing product development and process improvements
- Responsible for reporting cutting and packaging deficiencies, food safety issues and quality issues
- Responsible for tracking and maintaining inventories related to cutting and packaging
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, cleaning, sanitizing or Food Safety is preferred
- Significant physical strength and endurance, including the ability to lift 30+ lbs comfortably. Can include long days on your feet, in both hot and cold environments (make room and coolers).
- Team player who wants to work hard, collaborate and work with amazing cheese.
- Interest in continued education and food safety is a plus.
- Open minded and able to work well with others, including guiding or correcting team members.
- Great attention to detail with pride in a job well done
